Gary Moss
BSc (Hons), DipTP, DipUD, MRTPI
Director

After gaining his undergraduate planning degree in City and Regional Planning, Gary gained Diplomas in Town Planning (Cardiff University) and Urban Design (Birmingham City University) before gaining various Development Management roles at Worcestershire County and Stratford on Avon District Councils. He later joined Martin at MSC Planning in 2014, prior to becoming a Director at MSC Planning in 2016. With over 20 years planning experience in both Local Government and Private sectors, he has gained extensive knowledge of the planning system and his work extends to every type of development with a focus on Residential Development including Class Q conversions and rural housing projects, commercial development and HMO use in and around the Midlands area.

David Lomas

Director

David has worked in several different fields before becoming Director of MSC in 2019 bringing well over 20years worth of experience to the field. His past careers include teaching, advisory, research and development, legal, enforcement, and auditing roles in both private and public sectors. His work has extended to every type of development, large and small, complex to the simple including Listed buildings and everything historic. He has a meticulous eye for detail and executes his skills diligently to exceptional high standards. His approach, like MSC, proactive and is committed to building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients getting it right the first-time round. His passion for heritage has led him to undertake a Masters in Historic Conservation and is currently working toward attaining his IHBC accreditation.

Mike Davey

Planning Associate

Mike began his career as a planning apprentice at Dacorum Borough Council during which time he studied Urban and Environmental Planning at London South Bank University, gaining his undergraduate degree in 2014. He later moved to Senior roles at Milton Keynes Council, Buckinghamshire Council and Dacorum Borough Council, gaining significant experience dealing with a wide range of development across the South-East before joining MSC in 2021. Mike prides himself on his pragmatic approach to resolving planning issues and goes the extra mile to set out and summarise key considerations in plain English to ensure that clients have all the important information needed to make informed decisions without overloading them with planning jargon.
